“WWE 2K marks a great milestone in 2K’s partnership with WWE, as we bring the first authentic WWE simulation experience to market for mobile devices,” said Visual Concepts president Greg Thomas.
There’ll also be a career mode and live multiplayer matches, although further details on how multiplayer works has yet to be announced. Players will be able to choose from a roster of fan-favourite WWE Superstars, including John Cena, Hulk Hogan, Sting, Triple H, Undertaker, Daniel Bryan, Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, Dean Ambrose and Bray Wyatt, or create their own wrestler in the Create-a-Superstar mode. It’s due to cost £5.49 and is in development at n-Space in partnership with Visual Concepts. Titled ‘WWE 2K’, the mobile game promises to be the “first simulation-based WWE video game for mobile platforms”, and offers “authentic WWE gameplay in a mobile format”. A new mobile WWE game for iOS and Android (pictured above) is also in development for release later this spring, 2K revealed.
